We were given a preliminary task. This task got us to start working with the two programs we will be using the whole year-Photoshop, and Indesign. This is our starting point, essentially our worst piece (hopefully) for the whole year. I encountered numerous problems with both programs while working on this task. It took me forever to do simple tasks and I got frustrated easily with it.
What upset me the most about my piece was my image. I found that coming up with a creative picture about a SCHOOL was boring and hard. School-life just wasn't very photogenic.
Fonts were another issue. I could see a font in my head but didn't know what to search for or what it would be called so I had a hard time finding the right ones.
I have tons of blank space, my pictures are squashed and there isnt a love of color to grab any attention.
